Klamath-Lake District Notes:
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH HOSTS DISASTER PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM
September is National Disaster Preparedness Month. Any number of natural or
human caused disasters could affect our community, causing a disruption of
the services and protections we take for granted. In observation of
Disaster Preparedness month, the Agency Lake Neighborhood Watch will be
hosting a program to inform citizens of steps they can take to survive a
variety of catastrophic events that could impact the Chiloquin area. The
program will instruct our citizens in the steps they can take to protect
their homes, property and personal safety in the event of a disaster. Learn
the three steps you can take to deal effectively with disaster. The
presentation will be conducted by the American Red Cross in conjunction with
the Klamath County Department of Emergency Services. The presentation is
free and will be held on Thursday, September 20 at 6:30 PM at the Chiloquin
Community Center. Plan to attend this important program.
